Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to lead our go-to-market strategy and ensure the successful launch and continued growth of our products. The ideal candidate will serve as the crucial link between product development and market success, deeply understanding customer needs and market opportunities to define Locate a Locum’s compelling story, positioning, and value proposition. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker who is a master of messaging, a data-driven advocate for customer delight, and a proactive partner in shaping products customers truly love.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for new products and features, ensuring a successful launch and strong market adoption. Collaborate closely with product management and sales to define target customer segments and validate market opportunities before and during product development, informing GTM plans.
Positioning & Messaging: Develop and continuously refine compelling, benefit-oriented product messaging and positioning, grounded in deep customer understanding, that clearly articulates our product's unique value and solves their critical problems.
Market & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends, understand the competitive landscape, and inform our product strategy. Translate market trends, customer insights, and competitive analysis into actionable recommendations for product development and strategic business decisions, acting as the internal expert on our market, our buyers, and our competitors.
Sales Enablement: Empower the sales team with the tools, training, and content they need to effectively sell the product. This includes creating sales collateral, presentations, and battlecards that highlight our unique value propositions. Partner with the sales team to develop and deliver comprehensive enablement, including tools, training, and content that clearly articulate our product's value proposition and equip them to have meaningful, problem-solving conversations with prospects.
Content & Campaign Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and manage marketing campaigns and content (e.g., blog posts, case studies, webinars) that drive awareness and demand. Collaborate with the broader marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns and create compelling content (e.g., thought leadership, case studies, webinars) that address specific customer pain points and drive engagement throughout the buyer's journey.
Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer internally, working with the product team and Customer Success team to ensure customer feedback and market insights are incorporated into the product roadmap. Serve as the primary voice of the customer internally, conducting ongoing customer research, interviews, and feedback analysis. Proactively partner with product management and Customer Success to translate these insights into actionable input for the product roadmap, ensuring we build and refine products that continuously deliver exceptional customer value and drive loyalty.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product management, sales, development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on product vision and market strategy. Serve as a central connector and strategic partner across product management, sales, engineering, and customer success, fostering alignment on product vision, market strategy, and customer satisfaction.
Pricing Strategy: Assist in defining and analysing pricing models and strategies to maximise market share and profitability. Contribute to defining and analysing pricing models and strategies, informed by customer value perception and competitive landscape, to optimise market adoption, growth, and profitability.
